Dilation/Scaling/Enlargement--Reduction: a figure's size is changed uniformally with respect to a given point. The amount the size is changed is the scaling ratio or percentage of change. If the transformed picture is larger than the original picture then the scaling ratio is larger than 1, and the percentage of change is larger than 100 %. If the transformed picture is smaller than the original picture then the scaling ratio is smaller than 1, and the percentage of change is smaller than 100 %.
