Symmetry: an object is symmetric with respect to a line if each point has a corresponding point the same distance on the other side of the line. The line is often referred to a line of symmetry.

For example, the following picture can have a line of symmetry drawn where each point on one side has a corresponding point on the other side.

| Symmetry | Reflection/Flip | Translation/Slide | Rotation/Turn | TanTrans | Congruency | Dilation/Scaling | Similarity | Tesselations | Perpendicularity | Parallelism |
